I won't hesitate to say that this place serves the best chat food in Varanasi.Must Must Must try Tamatar Chat. Authentic Recipe and that Ghee Taste..makes it too yummy. I would have rated over 5* if possible. It is located at prime location Godowlia Chauraha and always flooded with customers. Service is super fast, I don't think that we waited for over 20-30 *seconds* for any item we ordered. We tried atleast 9-10 different items and all were एक से बढ़कर एक.!!

It’s situated in Godolia chowk which is always full of people and specially this chaat bhandaar.You won’t even get a place to sit although their service is super fast.The overly famous Tamaatar chaat is very okayish in taste, a lil sweet. I was expecting a waoo experience after having it but I would not even want to try it again. The aloo tikki chaat was so average, I had even 100 times better chaat at other places in North India. We were in group so order every chat. Every chat was unique in its taste. We did like mixed chat and samosa chat specially. You have to try it once if you visit banaras.

Quite a famous name in Varanasi.. Very close to the mandir. We were very excited to try their chaat but only to find that it was way too overrated.. The taste of chaat was average.. They may be using the best ingredients but there is too much crowd and of course in such cases quantity takes precedence over quality.. Varanasi has so many street food options.. May try others.

I tried almost everything on the menu at Kashi Chat Bhandar, including Aloo Tikki, Tamater Chat, Samosa Chat, Dahi Bhalla, Bhalla Papdi, Kulfi Faluda, and Mix Chat. Out of everything, the Kulfi Faluda stood out the most—it was very tasty and sweet, definitely the highlight of my visit. As for the other items, they were average—not bad, but not particularly outstanding either.

The chat is good- loved the tamatar and Palak patta chat. Service is also quite efficient and speedy. Even though the space inside is quite small and cramped, they manage to give you a table relatively quickly which was quite impressive. Would recommend to go at not non peak hours since it gets quite crowded and gets difficult to eat in peace.

Oh my God! I do not know If I will do these amazing creations any justice by describing them with words. You just need to go there and sample it for yourself, the quality and taste is out of this world, with their mix of spices.....I sampled a tamatar chat which was really yummy and unique.And I tried their dahi puri which by far is the best chat dish I have ever had, so I had seconds LOL. Hands down this place serves best chat in Varanasi!We heard about this place from our accommodation owner. He praised it and said to go here and have chat as dinner.Food verdict- I highly recommend the tamatar chaat. Loved everything else too. try everything and decide your favourite. We ordered everything. It was yummy!Cost- We were 10 people and the bill approximately was Ra 1460. Each one of us had at-least three plates of chat. The cost is fairly decent if you don’t consider it as a junk food but as a meal.It’s always crowded and you have to wait at-least 20-30 min to get a table. People just eat outside standing.

I must say they serve the best Chaat in Varanasi. My Fav was Tomato Chaat.. mind blowing Palak chaat too was good, Kulfi falooda again amazing stuff. The only stuff which was not good at all was Golgappe the potato stuffing inside was not fresh it was stinking like someone puked inside it. But hats off to chaat varieties overall excellent stuff. But please try & check golgappe might be due to summers the potato stuffing started stinking.

Over hyped has caused too much of rush. It’s always overcrowded and hence the quality of chaat has definitely gone down. They don’t have time to provide you crispy chat , aloo chat is under cooked not crispy at all. Too much of chatni spoils the flavours.Other places like Gopi Chat Bhandar etc offers personal touch and provides personal touch making chat to your flavours.

Amazing place for chats The tamatar chat was very different from the regular chats you have, especially if you are from the Southern part of India. Special mention to the Palak pata chat. The curds in the chat was mildly sweet and the Saute ki chutney or sweet chutney as everyone calls was amazing . Just that it's located in a crowded street but not a place to miss if you are in Banaras and if you love your chats .

Just an overhyped place with too much crowd and waiting for just one order...it was very difficult to get the order in hands after paying the amount one needs to stand and ask multiple times for the order and you'll get the order as soon as the person standing there sees you or else keep asking ....tomato chaat was too much spicy along with that didn't feels that it is freshly prepared and the aaloo tikki was also not so good. I hope they work on better management of order and people.

Very lively place.Top crowded during Saawan but still accessible and can stand and eat.Liked the paalak chaat. Tomato chaat was average. Also due to crowds the space was smelling of the leftovers tossed out so definitely waste disposal needs work to be able to stand and eat in peace (only a problem for people with high sense of smell)But overall enjoyable with friends.

Very hyped chaat place in Banaras. It’s a one time visit place to test the hype! The tamatar chaat was unique which we tried for first time. However did not like it much as it was too oily and just a tangy gravy not accompanied by any bread/ crisp. Aaloo tikki was below average. It is very very crowded, dirty and not managed properly. Must try their Kulfi Faluda. But Don't try their Pani Puri, i ate worst tested Pani Puri in my life. We expect that all other items were great in test so like that pani puri will test great but no their Pani Puri not a Pani Puri ask them or they told to eat some ware or on any Thella in Varanasi that will test better than their Pani Puri. I have a slightly different review than what others have posted. The food overall is good but the hygiene factor is absolutely pathetic. Plus the service is not up to the mark. If the shop opens at a particular time then I suppose they need to set everything and then open it to the public. Public waiting for half hour and more doesn't make sense. Also, the people serving there are not as polite as they should be. I strongly believe that a brand becomes big with great service especially in the food industry. If it's such a prominent brand then they are doing nothing to keep the image of the brand.

A well known treasure of Banaras, I'm a big time chaat muncher and trust me you can't find a better tasting chaat in this price in entire Uttar Pradesh, I've been living in Lucknow for moreover two years and honestly the hyped Royal cafe or the shukla chaat house comes even close to the Kashi Chat Bhandar.Talking about the option, tamatar chat is a very classic choice here but if you're someone who's not a big fan of tomatoes like me I would suggest you to opt for papdi chaat or aloo tikki chat (just don't go for tamatar chat only coz it's hyped). Delicious street-style chaat dishes available and always crowded.The Tamatar Chaat is something different that you try only in Varanasi, so do not miss that. Also tasted the Samosa Chaat, which is also really good. Considering the portion size, the dishes are a bit pricier.
